Melligen Falls, Arum Brings Him Up

When it was announced that Mark Jason Melligen will have a main event match in ESPN’s Fight Night against Sebastian Andres Lujan, all hopes werehigh that he will come out victorious in the match, until the July 1 bout came to a finish in a disappointing loss where he dropped in the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th rounds, where he ultimately succumbed to the Argentine fighter.

Dapudong was able to capture the WBC silver title in Mexico last year. If he is able to make the upset, Dapudong will become a member of an elite group of Filipino world titlist that only a few has been able to accomplish. Continue reading
