Klitschko, Haye Looks for Title Unification
Wladimir Klitschko is scheduled to fight the current WBA world heavyweight champion David Haye in a title unification bout for WBO, IBF, IBO and The Ring heavyweight titles. The fight will take place in the Imtech Arena, Hamburg, Germany on July 2.
Klitschko currently holds the IBF, IBO, WBO and Ring Magazine Champion and is looking to make a complete sweep of all the titles as he faces Haye in what is expected to be a slobber knocker of a bout. He is also considered as the number 2 pound-for-pound boxer behind Manny Pacquiao.
His opponent Haye is coming from a big win over Audley Harrison last November where he defeated his foe in the third round of the bout. Haye is definitely eyeing for the unification as well when he meets Klitschko in a highly anticipated show of power and skills between the two fighters. Continue reading
